I've been hog hunting since the 80s and got dogs cut up started searching for vest in the mid 90s my dad had leather vest made for our catch dogs trying to provide protection then we started buying every vest and style we heard of in the late 90s early 2000s some wasn't worth a dang gut good catch dogs dang near killed and some were decent but once we came across these Southern Cross vest our journey searching for the right vest stopped there we no longer had to search for the right protection for our bay dogs and catch dogs the proof was there we finally had protection that last and since I was a kid I use to never see a catch dog retire but with Southern Cross vest I've seen many good dogs able to live many years and reproduce and retire THANKS TO SOUTHERN CROSS CUT GEAR.

Great bay vest
I have a young plott that’s very gritty and kept getting cut. Ever since I bought this half bay vest he’s come out without a scratch. Is very lightweight even when wet. He’ll run all day with it on and not be burnt out.
