This vest has taken my catch dog, who used to get cut the most even with a vest, to the dog who rarely gets touched. She still gets bumps and bruises, she gets sore but hasn't been cut since she started wearing it. My dogs mean everything to me and this is the only cut gear they wear now. I've gotten rid of every piece of cut gear that isn't Southern Cross Cut. I've convinced everyone I hunt with to switch and everyone agrees. This is the best priced highest quality gear out there.

Owned, abused, wore out and replaced a lot of vests over the years. I’m really impressed with this one. The folks at Southern Cross just keep coming up with ways to make a better vest.

I’ve tried several competitors before using SCCG...hands down , the most functional and protective vest available. I’ll never use another brand. We catch a lot of rank boars 🐗 When I send my catch dogs in to a bay, I feel 100% confident that they’re protected in their SCCG vests. Excellent company with great gear. The best.

Great coverage
Love the coverage on this vest. First hog my dog (running catch) locked up on after switching to this vest was a pretty big rank boar. Can see how well she was protected by looking at the hits on the vest that didn't correlate to cuts. Protected my Garmin collar as well. She looks to move it in great and doesn't seem to be restricted, even with the larger coverage area. Definitely recommend for your catch dogs.
