DUTIES AND TAXES
When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination.
Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.
SOUTHERN CROSS CUT GEAR does not have any responsibility on these additional charges that may apply.
The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products. By placing an international order (shipping outside of the USA), the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions.
If a product is seized and destroyed by the customs, or returned to the United States, we will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds. It is the buyer's responsibility to cover the shipping costs when the buyer wishes to have a second delivery attempt after the product is returned to SOUTHERN CROSS CUT GEAR.
USPS First Class- This is our most economical international shipping option. Tracking is not updated in real time and sometimes not updated at all. Delivery times are normally 1-3 weeks.
USPS Priority International- This is our most reliable international shipping option. Tracking is more dependable and delivery times are much faster with most orders arriving in 6-12 days.
Southern Cross Cut Gear does not guarantee a certain delivery date or time frame for delivery outside of the United States. Any listed time for a shipping method is an estimate only.
SOUTHERN CROSS CUT GEAR is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or delayed shipments or damaged freight by the freight carriers after they have been dispatched.
SOUTHERN CROSS CUT GEAR cannot be held responsible/liable for lost or stolen packages that have delivery confirmation to the address that was provided. The customer accepts full responsibility to file any claim(s) with the carrier for damaged and/or lost shipments.

We hope that you are happy with with your purchase from Southern Cross Cut Gear, but if for any reason you are not we accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Gear must be unused and in the same condition as received. We do not accept returns or exchanges on used or customer damaged products.
Refunds will be issued via the same method as payment was received. Refunds will be issued within a week of receiving the returned good.
We do accept exchanges for different sizes on unused gear. If you try a vest or collar and it does not fit properly please contact us for exchange instructions. If you do not like the fit of your gear please initiate the exchange prior to taking your gear on a hunt. We do NOT takes exchanges or returns on used gear. You will be resposbile for return postage.
At Southern Cross we believe in standing behind the products we make. We appreciate all of our customers entrusting us to protect your valued canine hunting partners and this is why we offer a LIFETIME manufacturers warranty. That means that if one year, two years or ten years from the time of purchase any part of your gear comes apart or fails as a result of a manufacturing error we will repair or replace the vest for FREE. While most companies offer a limited time warranty, we believe in our materials and manufacturing techniques so much that we will stand behind them for the life of the product.
Lifetime Warranty Terms and Conditions
-Southern Cross will repair or replace any aspect of our gear that comes apart/fails as a result of stitching or faulty hardware. This includes; binding, straps, and buckles.
-Southern Cross is NOT responsible for normal wear and tear that is associated with hog hunting with dogs. Hog cuts, dirt, mud, etc.. are all a part of hog hunting and NOT covered under the lifetime manufacturers warranty.
-At Southern Cross we pride ourselves on making the best hog dog protective gear possible. However, hog hunting is a potentially dangerous activity and even with the best protection available, nothing can be guaranteed 100% cut proof. Southern Cross and its affiliates are not responsible for any damage to products or injury/death to dogs that may occur while using our products.
-If you have an issue with your gear please contact us immediately and we will work to resolve it.

First please check your tracking number for any "delivery exception" notifications. While uncommon, on occasion the postal service will experience delays. If more than 3 days have surpassed the expected delivery date please contact your local post office for an update. They should be able to track down your order. I you have tried this routes but still have not recieved your package please email us at email@example.com
We recomend using a light dish soap and a medium pressure nozzle to clean all cut gear.
Do NOT machine wash your gear. Do NOT use a high pressure sprayer. Do NOT use a harsh cleaning agent. Doing so will deteriorate the water resistant coating that is applied to all of our fabrics. This can compromise the integrity of your vest and lead to water absorbtion
We recomend cleaning off your gear after every hunt and storing OUT of direct sunlight. Leaving your gear in direct sunlight can over time fade the pattern and degrade the integrity of the gear compromising its protective capabilities.
We strive to produce the highest level of puncture resistant and functional gear possible. This said, no vest/collar can be guaranteed as completely cut proof. Even police/prison guard vests, which may contain up to 20 layers of kevlar, are not guaranteed as cut proof. Any company that tells you their gear is completely cut proof is quite simply lying to take your money. We utilize the highest grade of mil spec kevlar, nylon and ballistics fabric available to create the highest level of puncture resistance possible. Our gear is designed to deflect the vast majority of blows and should a puncture occur, reduce the damage as much as possible. As hunters ourselves we manufacture every piece of gear knowing that it could be utilized on one of our own personal dogs. With over a decade of hunting, multiple times every week, we have never had any of our personal dogs killed by a hog cut while wearing our gear.

We do not do individual sponsorships. While we have in the past, we no longer offer new individual sponsorships. We want all of those whom promote our gear to do so because they truly believe in our products not just because they are paid or given free products, as is the case with most of our competitors.
We DO sponsor hog hunting/bay competitions as well as donate to dog hunting organizations. Instead of paying/giving gear to just a few individuals we prefer to donate to hunting/bay competitions and dog hunting organizations. This allows us to give more hunters the opportunity at gear and to support the organizations that are fighting for our dog hunting rights.
