At Southern Cross Cut Gear, we stand behind every piece of gear we build. Our products are designed, tested, and used in real hog hunting conditions—because that’s what we do.
We offer a Limited Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty so you can run your dogs with confidence.
🛡️ WHAT’S COVERED (MANUFACTURING DEFECTS)
If your gear fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace it at no cost.
Examples include:
- Stitching failure (missed seams, binding coming loose)
- Broken or defective hardware (buckles, straps, attachment points)
👉 Warranty repairs are FREE
(Customer is responsible for shipping)
⚠️ WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FIELD
Cut Gear Is Meant to Be Cut
If your vest or collar comes back cut up—that means it did its job.
Every cut, slice, or tear is damage that could have gone into your dog.
👉 Damage to the gear = protection for your dog
Cut Resistant ≠ Cut Proof
No cut gear—ours or anyone else’s—is completely puncture proof.
Our gear is built to:
- Absorb impact
- Reduce penetration
- Minimize severity of injuries
Complete punctures are rare—but under the right conditions, they can happen with any gear.
❌ FIELD DAMAGE (NORMAL USE – NOT WARRANTY)
The following are expected when hunting hogs and are NOT considered defects:
- Cuts from tusks
- Torn outer layers
- Abrasion and wear from hog contact
👉 This is normal use. This means the gear worked.
🔧 REPAIR OPTIONS (EVEN IF NOT WARRANTY)
We still have you covered.
Even when damage is from normal use, we offer repair services to help extend the life of your gear.
- Reinforcement of damaged areas
- Panel repairs (when possible)
- Hardware replacement
👉 Repairs are case-by-case and may include a fee depending on condition.

Before sending anything in, please email us first.
Send us:
- Description of the issue
- Approximate purchase date
- Where it was purchased (website, dealer, etc.)
- Clear photos of the damage
What Happens Next:
- We review your photos
- Determine if it’s warranty or repair
- Provide a quote (if applicable)
- Give instructions for sending it in
