  • We recommend utilizing girth measurements over weight when selecting vest sizes.   While weight is sufficient in most cases, girth measurements tend to be the most accurate.  The illustration below will show you where to measure.    
  • NOTICE for Overlap Sizing-  If you have a dog that falls in between on sizing our general recommendation is for wider chested dogs to go up a size and slender built dogs go down a size.
  • These are the typical sizing guidelines.  99% of dogs will fit into these standard sizes, however some dogs do have unique structures and may need a custom fit.  If your dog does not fit into any sizes outlined below, please send us the measurements described at the bottom of the page and we will make a custom vest for you.

    The Dirty Dawg Catch Vest is ideal for walk-in catch dogs and is designed to take years of abuse, making it a great addition to your hog dog gear collection. 

    Features: 

    • Outer layer of 1050 Ballistics Nylon
    • Thick 1/4 inch PolyFelt throughout
    • Heavy Duty Duck Weave throughout
    • Interior layer of 1000 denier Cordura to finish off some real hardcore hog dog protection.

    This hog dog vest offers maximum mobility, cut protection and impact absorption.

    The vest and collar are well made. Using the measurment table from the website the vest and collar fit and are a little on the big side. We were right at the edge of some measurements and I didn't want mobility to be resticted so went with the bigger size. They arrived as expected and were packaged appropriately.

    The collar works perfectly. Unfortunately The vest is a bit to small for my big boys and girl. Planning on buying another soon but getting a refund on this. Great gear and great customer service. Definitely recommend

    I've had e vests and 2 collars.both are top quality and exactly what I wanted.light and flexible enough for the dogs to move well and unrestricted but the protection thay offer is obvious asoon as you handle it.thick and durable.very happy with both.
